Argentinean fine artist and teacher. Degree and Professor in Fine Arts graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the National University of La Plata, Argentina. During 2018, she was part of the Workshop-Meeting “Unknown protagonist women artists” along with other colleagues, held in Necochea, Argentina. In that same year she participated in the National Painting Contest, 80 years “Nicasio Diaz Llanos¨ took place at the Casa del Faro Museum. Quequen, Argentina. A year later she completed a training in Optical Color dictated by Adriana Ablin at Espacio Nido, Tandil, Argentina.

ARTIST´S STATEMENT

The light of my childhood has the aroma of eucalyptus, of mountains. At this moment I am collecting leaves, fruits of my close environment and I reinterpret them from drawing, collage, painting and photography. The lines of the trees, the shadows of its branches and leaves , the interstices. They capture my attention, here begins my search linked to the sacredness of nature and the natural environment, the art of nature as an art of process, rather than an art of result. Catch a moment and record the over time. The fleeting and the ethereal.

I feel like a teacher-artist, I have a natural visual intention to seek what I see with intense curiosity, on the brink of making those who look at my work in detail uncomfortable. I take those visions to my productions “I spend my life teaching what I am still passionate about learning” Viking phrase.

ABOUT FRONTIER

The #Futuro Online Residency allowed me to reflect and interact with colleagues, to produce artistic gestures both individually and collectively. A space that allowed me to find genuine links to continue working. It was very enriching to enjoy the encounters with artists from remote places and share experiences.
