Ana Cecilia Catelli is a visual artist and dance performer from Córdoba based in Bahía Blanca, present in the ´ace studio thanks to the Semillero 2024 Fellowships, in collaboration with the Williams Foundation. Ana is dedicated to art in two areas, teaching and creation. In the last 5 years, she has deepened in the study and somatic practice with a contemporary dance perspective. At the same time, she has developed a great interest in the wild nature of the territory in which she lives. These two aspects have substantially modified her way of perceiving, of facilitating learning and of making visual art, between graphics and loom.
During her time at ´ace, Ana dedicated herself to exploring natural and documentary aspects of Sauce Grande, a coastal region of the Province of Buenos Aires. Using photographs, found objects, drawings, audios and action proposals shared in her own voice, Ana designed a sensorial map of the region entitled Sensorial Map of Sauce Grande-A Dance of Attention, which materialised in the form of an installation with drawings in the Espacio Diálogo and a video projected in the Central Hall.

I try to give (me) time and space to sustain habits that enable spontaneity, conscious and organic learning, individuation in relation to others and Creative Play.

On November 6th, 2024, between 1pm and 5pm, we opened the ´ace studio to share with the local public the processes of the residents of the October-November period.
Neal Hall (USA) gave a reading of some of his poems, which are part of his body of work entitled Abolist. Visitors to the open studio were able to enjoy Hall’s reading of his earlier poems, as during his time at ´ace, Neal was busy navigating the local circuit and getting his ideas down on paper.
