Aleksandra Ilkiewicz and Przmek Hoffer arrived at ´ace thanks to an association between the Fundación´ace and the Academy of Fine Arts of Lodz, institution where the artists studied, and with PATA (International Summer Courses—Printmaking and Textile Art).
On December 19th, in the last Open Studio of the year, both Polish artists presented Shadows of the City, a work developed during their residency in ´ace‘s workshop.

This project arises from the exploration of issues related to the remediation of digital and analogical orders, as well as the indirectly existing noise that consists in creating interferences, making them an effect and an artistic theme in the publication of fanzines. Aleksandra and Przemek have sought authentic and everyday experiences in the streets of the City of Buenos Aires. They consider the graphic declaration as a process which is not about an understandable understanding, but a creative participation.
