ARTIST STATEMENT

I’ve been working on the project Matrix and Prints as Graphics Objects Creating Space, which is based on a series of abstract graphic works made from matrixes and graphics printed in silk screen and intaglio. The works are in relation with the environment—by building them from matrixes and graphics I wanted to create graphic spatial objects and installations. In this project, I explored the possibilities of abstract description of reality inherent in a widely understood graphical language, to which matrixes, prints, graphic installations can be categorized.
